wprigjoigj3i40jhgi0435ejh Veteran Posted June 6, 2006 Veteran Share Posted June 6, 2006 Some friends of mine are big into paintball. I wanted to get a gun to start playing with them. One of the guys said he had a 'starter kit' he could sell me for $250. I want to know what you paintball guys think. I haven't played paintball in about 4 years and I have never owned my own gun. This seems like a good deal to me, but I know nothing about paintball guns. So you tell me, is this worth $250? Package Includes: Tippmann 98 Custom Marker Flatline Barrel System RT response trigger system View loader revolution agitating loader (fresh batteries) Rear thumb velocity adjuster Psychoballistics starfire bolt 32 degrees coiled remote w/slide check Adjustable gas through stock Pure energy 20oz. tank 4 + 1 harness w/pods JT Thermal goggles Parts kit (not pictured) All i would need is paintballs and gas right? R-Flex
Depends on how used it has been. Otherwise, it's not too bad of a deal, if it is in good condition. But the question I'd like to ask you is, if you really need your own personal paintball marker?

But the question I'd like to ask you is, if you really need your own personal paintball marker? I've seen the gun. It looks to be in good condition. Fired off a few rounds and everything works. The owner is a good friend and wouldn't rip me off or anything. He said he would show me how to strip and clean it plus give me any help needed. Do I need a paintball gun? Probably not. Do I want one? Hell yea. :D
Slane
If it's in good condition then I would go for it, but I'm not that expereinced with paintball, but if I had this deal I would and defiently if from a trusted source.

If you have money to blow, these things are always fun. Better than rental guns, definitely.
