riahc3
My family is currently looking for a DVD and/or HDD recorder - Reasonable low price - Better if its HDD of course (if the price premits it) - "One-Touch Instant" recording - Able to edit out commericials - Multiple DVD formats supported - USB connection (to pass videos to PC) - Linux based (with of course a strong comunity to put mods on it and make it better) If I think of anything else Ill post it. da13ro
Yes, we just bought a Pioneer one, great lil unit, looks great too. Both DVD and HDD recording, one touch, also has a great programmable interface with a great menu for the HDD section too. I got the 160GB on i believe fro JB Hi Fi over here in Australia for $600 and they threw in 3 extra years of warrenty which normally costs $100. Bargain if you ask me.
