After over a year of service my favorite for finding latest updates for my installed favorite software has come an end!! (But why!!) This service is believed to have been offically closed at midnight (GMT).

they probably realized that they can make money off of this feature now that they have you using it on a regular basis. With the new e-mail service, they probably will sell your e-mail address and reap some financial benefit for themselves.

i remember using it when it first came out, it was trying to put windows 2000 files to update windows me; anyways, i know when my favorite programs and OS get updated already
