Hi guys,

I have created a guide on what to do after installing Ubuntu 6.0.6 for the noobs (like me).

This information is taken from other sources and put in one place, it's done for my hardware but if it helps anyone out then thats cool.

My Ubuntu Guide

Cheers

Incredible guide for a newbie like me. One part is confusing though. When you write:

Open Teminal and type sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list in the file that opens, delete every thing and the following lines

Do you mean to delete everything and then ADD the following lines? Deleting everything, then specific lines seems redundant. Probably just a typo but I want to make sure.

Yes, delete everything, then ADD... Nice guide.

hence the "This information is taken from other sources and put in one place"

deleted guide by mistake, although outdated now anyway
