World Clock widget

Recommended Posts

I was looking at iStat Nano today, and I noticed something odd. In the processes list, I noticed that World Clock was right at the top, using at times 6% of the CPU. I found this odd, and figured I'd share it.

But my question is: is that using the CPU power all the time, or just when Dashboard is open? And has anyone else noticed this?

(It's not using as much there, I didn't catch it at 6%)

Close Dashboard, open up Activity Monitor and take a look there. Most widgets only use CPU power when Dashboard is active which is why I think it's a great way of hosting widgets, better than the Windows Vista Sidebar for example.
