I have ported the Firefox 2.0 theme to Firefox 1.5

None of the graphics are my work, but all the porting was done by me.

To install :

Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3156/ and just click the big install button.

ALL WORK DONE BY CODY. He has edited my original file and de-bugged it. My file is useless next to his ;)

Not bad, but the Go button's mouseover graphic is completely broken.

Also, for the Back and Forward mouseovers, are they supposed to have a small white box behind it?

Glad you guys like it.

I will probably formally port it over eventually considering I have all the illustrator and PSD files and it won't take that long, but right now, I'm swamped.

I've also started on a non-default theme for Firefox 2, my own personal design, that I'll be whipping up for FF2 launch.

I've got a few questions:

- Is there a way to make the arrows for forwards and backwards from FireFox 2 work in FireFox 1.5?

- And the extra image for searchbar?

- Also is there away to attatch the go button to the address bar like in FireFox 2?

- And my last question is there a way to change the height for the toolbar, Cause it's smaller in FireFox 2.

To install :

Download the JAR

Drag the jar into the Themes window in Firefox

It is most definately not perfect, I wouldn't even call it good, but it does work and it does have (for the most part) the new graphics.

Fixes:

- Forward,Backwards and the "Go" buttons

I am going to fix the RSS icons and post the next fixes here if that's OK with bobp :)

Is it legit for me to upload it to my deviantART page as well?

Edited by Joel

I think I've uploaded the original version from bobp in my previous download link :p

Fixes:

- RSS Icons (The hoverd icons doesnt have the circle around it like in FireFox 2 Beta)

- Added email button from FireFox 1.5 cause it isn't present in FireFox 2 Beta)

    • So is Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, just to mention a few. What's your point? Everyone is a threat from their enemies' perspective. I'd say that Israel is only a threat to their immediate enemies like Hamas, Hezbollah and the Iranian regime, not to anyone else.
    • The government is not the good guy either. You propose 99% of people require that the government overreach and govern their freedom of information and privacy, while ignoring the government is made up 100% of people, of which 99% are (as you described) brain dead. You can't have both. The reality is Signal is absolutely right and the government is doing what it has always done. Ignoring that we are their boss and grabbing all the power they possibly can to make sure we aren't. Your (societies) ###### parenting is not reason enough as to why I can't have a safe platform for my data/information. Thinking the government is helping is precisely what they are targeting psychologically to take suckers like you for a ride. "Think of the children" was, has, is, and will always be a mechanism of control. In the rare occasion it's actually essential the mass consensus has always been there and it doesn't become a debate.
