This one is better then the one from bobp and me :p

Edit: in the FireFox beta there is no box around hoverd toolbar buttons, is there a way I can remove that in this theme as well?

Edited by Capric0rn

@foobah:The go button is the same as in the beta, it looks non-alligned because of the address bar image from your VS.

But that's because the image of the Go button, they made it that way :p

@Cody: could you fix the RSS icons?

Yep :) That's why I want to know how to remove the mouseover box from the visual style.

Because if you've used the beta you'll know that there is no mouseover box.

I dont know if you understand this but the beta users know what I'm talking about :p

Anyways the white box you see is the toolbar button image from the visual style that you are using.

When I know how to tweak it to disable that (iCandy toolbar for FireFox doesnt have those mouseover boxes) I'm going to see what I can do for the LE5 users.

I hope someone can help me with it :p

I asked it in a FireFox skinning thread on Aquasoft but they didn't reply there yet.

Anyway i have try to change vs but the mouseover box is always there! It's not a problem only of LE5 vs, probably first i understood wrong! :).

I have found this big image preview of firefox 2 theme :)

I'll see what I can do about the RSS icon, looks like something I should be able to do.

As for the box around the Go button, what themes are yall using that give it that box? In Classic it looks right. Is the Go button the only one that gives this box? The Forward, Back etc buttons dont give me the box when i hover over them, but are yall getting the boxes around them too?

Cody

EDIT: I don't know what i can change in the seach bar, probably nothing since i dont know of a search button type thing in 1.5

EDIT 2: can someone post a screen shot of the rss thing yall are talking about? the one thats after the url in the address bar seems to be the same in the beta and the theme

new version: http://www.sendspace.com/file/kqb6im

I recommend uninstalling the previous version before using this one.

I worked on the theme some and turned on the XP visual style and it looks like I removed the hoverbox for everything but the main Forward and Back buttons which I am still working on.

The go button should also work better with other themes now.

I don't have the file modded so that I can use 3rd party visual styles but if there are still any problems except for the hover box on the Forward/Back buttons let me know.

Cody

It's better then the previous releas :)

One glitch I found is that the right url part moves to left when I press the go button.

And the RSS icons arent fixed yet.

Aside form that this theme works better then the other ones :)

 This sounds like a fun one to fix. What theme are you using?

Can you post a screen shot of what icon you are talking abut?

EDIT: fixed the problem with the go button, it wasnt as bad as i thought it was

Hey, great job, but two things:

1) When I press the "go" button, the address bar seems to move up a bit then down again.

2) When History or Bookmarks is opened, the icon has a white empty part around it. (see image)

Other then that, great work. :)

edit: one other thing, if I use gmail notifier from the navigation toolbar, then after I log in, the toolbar becomes smaller.

rssfeediconsdd6.jpg

I could post the moddified icon from version of the theme.

Cause that was fixed in my version.

Altough it works fine in the urlbar, so I hope it's possible to assing a different icon for those menu items :)

@Al

I am getting the same thing with the Go button, ill try to get it knocked out later today.

For the background on the History and Bookmarks buttons, thats how it looks in the beta version of 2.0, I think its just trying to show a depressed state for that button.

Can you explain more/post a screenshot about the Gmail notifier.

@Capric0rn

Thanks for the screen, I'll look into it.

Cody

very good stuff. one suggestion though, should you edit your first post so everyone downloads the most updated version rather than scrolling through the thread looking for updates?

    • Anthropic launches Claude Fable 5, a state-of-the-art AI model that beats OpenAI's GPT-5.5 by Pradeep Viswanathan Back in April, Anthropic announced Claude Mythos Preview, a frontier model with state-of-the-art coding capabilities. Due to the cybersecurity implications that would occur due to the availability of such a powerful model, Anthropic made it available to only a select set of companies around the world. The company's plan was to prepare appropriate guardrails before releasing such a powerful model to everyone. Now, after nearly two months, Anthropic announced Claude Fable 5, its most capable AI model yet for general users. The company also announced Claude Mythos 5, the same underlying model as Fable 5, but with safeguards lifted, making it more suitable for selected cybersecurity and biology use cases. Claude Fable 5 sits a tier above its Opus models and it beats most other generally available models across areas including software engineering, knowledge work, vision, scientific research, and long-running autonomous tasks. To prevent model misuse, when Claude Fable 5 detects certain requests related to cybersecurity, biology, chemistry, or model distillation, the request will be routed to the Claude Opus 4.8 model. Anthropic claims that these safeguards trigger in less than 5% of sessions on average. However, for large organizations working on critical software, Claude Mythos 5 can be availed through Project Glasswing. Later, Anthropic has plans to expand access through a broader trusted access program. As you can notice in the benchmarks above, Fable 5 and Mythos 5 are state-of-the-art on most key AI benchmarks and they are well ahead of OpenAI's frontier model, GPT-5.5. For example, Fable 5 is the new state-of-the-art model for vision tasks. Also, Mythos 5 has the strongest cybersecurity capabilities of any model in the world. Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5 are priced at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens, which is less than half the price of Claude Mythos Preview. Another big change is that Anthropic is making a change to the way they handle business customer data for both Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models. The company will now require 30-day retention for all traffic on both first- and third-party surfaces. Anthropic promises that it won't use the data to train Claude models, instead it will use it against complex and novel attacks. Claude Fable 5 is available today on the Claude API and consumption-based Enterprise plans. It is also included at no extra cost for Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise customers from today through June 22. After that, users on those plans will need usage credits to continue using Fable 5, unless Anthropic extends the included access window based on capacity. Developers can access Fable 5 through the Claude API using the claude-fable-5 model name.
