Add ICQ Numbers to Your AOL Buddy List - AOL is beginning to test the ability for AOL members and ICQ users to exchange instant messages. In this beta, you will be able to add an ICQ # to your AOL Buddy List -- however the ICQ user will not yet appear as online and you cannot send them instant messages at this time. AOL will provide a version of an ICQ client in the near future which you will be able to use to further test this feature.

Remove Image Warning in Buddy Mail - If you receive an email from someone in your ?People I Know? category, you will not receive an image warning when that person embeds an image in their email.

Autosuggest on Mailing List Group Names - Mail Autosuggest will now match against Mailing List Group names in the Address Book.

Official Mail More Visually Distinguishable from Regular Mail ? Official Mail logo now listed at the top of each Official Mail form rather than listed in the bottom lower left, making it easier for you to tell at a glance if the mail is official.

Auto-Resize Mail Forms ? Mail forms will now automatically resize depending on your available desktop space.

IM form size Preference - You now have a preference to make the text box of an IM larger by turning off buddy icons.

New IM indicator - The titlebar icon on your IM window Icon will flash to indicate a new, unacknowledged IM has arrived. Additionally, with AOL minimized, the icon on your windows taskbar will also flash.

Buddy List options - Right clicking on a member in your buddy list will now give you new options.

Buddy List Form Size ? Your Buddy List will now fill up to 90% of the available screen space upon sign-on or when the Buddy List form is re-opened.

Chat Preferences - On upgrade, the chat room listing of ?Who?s Here? will default to an alphabetical listing, making it easier to find members in the chat room.

AOL Companion ? When AOL Companion is in the minimized state and not docked, clicking on the mail or IM button will no longer dock the companion.

Download Manager - There have been numerous improvements to the Download Manager to make downloading and finding your files even easier. Go to File>Download Manager to see them all.

Badged IM Forms (coming soon) - When communicating with certain bots (AOL automated IM buddies), the IM form will be changed to reflect that you are messaging with a special screenname.
