Grahnman Posted August 11, 2006 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Just thought I'd share a neat trick for Photoshop (Elements as well) that I learned from a magazine. If you've taken landscape photos where distant parts are hazy, try applying Unsharp Mask with these settings: Amount = 35% Radius = 85 pixels Threshold = 0 levels Voila! More contrast (especially in midtones), less haze. I just love it when you can use filters in a different way than you're supposed to. :) Oh yeah, the numbers aren't set in stone, so you should play around with the settings until you get the desired result.
