Bawx
I'm rather enjoying it. I know it's still far from a complete browser, but as far as things go it's pretty kickass. What main things do other browsers have that this does not?

abc@home
How do I get Maxthon not to re-arrange the tabs when I close the browser and open it again? Do you mean the tabs are reopened in reverse order? Unfortunately there is no official answer yet. But you may try this temporary fix: http://forum.maxthon.com/index.php?showtopic=66956

BryanChung
Thanks for that. Seems like MEM usage is still very high compared to v1.
Rappy Veteran Posted August 26, 2007 Veteran Share Posted August 26, 2007 Thanks for that.Seems like MEM usage is still very high compared to v1. Wow what are you viewing?...mines usually around 50,000k viewing Neowin with 4 tabs.
linx05
Use something more accurate for starters. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysintern...ssExplorer.mspx Yeah it is larger than M1 but I thought it was because of how different it is to M1. Still waiting for optimizations in that area. Though I haven't seen it use that much memory since the BETAs. What were you on?
BryanChung
I am just in my Habbo Hotel Game and Neowin. And I often get this... I am just doing the usual surfing around the net and playing Habbo Hotel. Not sure what causing my Maxthon2 to just freeze. Sometimes I have to EndTask it. Here are some Error Report from my Event Viewer. The program Maxthon.exe version 2.0.3.4020 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Problem Reports and Solutions control panel. L815
I've been using it ever since it has been in beta rc1. I love it. The new release is even better :D. Opera is my second favorite, but I just dislike the constant rendering issues with some sites. Firefox is ok, but nothing special about it other than extensions, and it's not as secure as it was in the beginning.

linx05
is there a test about firex and maxthon ? The only good test is one done by yourself. Ya just tested it out. Looks nice, interface is cool and it's fast. Could use a little tweaking though. What kind of tweaking? It is very customisable, just try it. L815
So far maxthon 2 has stuck with me. I used to be firefox user but then Opera took over, but now maxthon took over lol. There's so much you can do with it, and it's extremly fast browsing for me. As for tweaking or anything else, just visit their forums.
