The Gunslinger
I agree with you there. If you watch these police chase videos, the person driving at crazy speeds tends to drive pretty damn well, unless they're drunk or on drugs, and only really mess up when they try to run, or the police attack them. People who are unalert are a far greater hazard to the road, in my opinion. (Y) btw...200 km/hr in a Toyota Corolla 1.4i , was almost at the engine cut off point. Thought it was going to blow. Konstanov
Funny thing is the M6's are limited to 155  (That is unless it is removed) The busa is also limited, but thats around 191MPH isn't it? Unless its a pre-1999 or what ever year it was they introduced the limiter you would need the little ecu plugin thing that tricks the ecu into thinking its in fifth instead of sixth.. I've unrestricted every vechicle I've ever owned.

AltecXP
I doubt that a 130bhp road car could hit 150mph. Even 135 seems slightly high to me. Not when its not stock(got a few small odd-ons), and mine is 143bhp stock...got the s/r package. It CAN do 150, but you need a LONG streatch of road, I did 135 on a mile long bridge with no traffic. I was with 2 other ZX2 owners that after 125 stoped trying to follow :)
morca007
Considering I've only even had my Education permit (can't drive without a licensed 21 year old in the passenger seat) a few months, I've got a lot of time ahead of me for fun. 83 Mp/h on the highway up to Mt. Hood... In the Drivers Ed. Ford Focus. :p

ramesees
Somewhere between 100MPH and 110MPH in my Corsa on a motorway. Wouldnt recommend trying it again though, damn thing was almost getting too hard to control at that speed. She can comfortably hit about 80-90 MPH without causing problems with handling though. V0b0
185 kilometers per, in a 1985 corolla hatchback, and this only a couple years ago, with a passenger as a witness. my buddy greenmuncher bought a brand new sx2.0 and it can't go as fast as my 20 year old beater 4 cylinder with half a radiator lol. tony-inpo
Isle of Wight isn't the place to do any speeding :p I used to live in Gosport btw (Y) My dad had to get the Gosport ferry every day for a few years - he worked in the Naval base near by. Small world. The Isle of Wight really isn't good for drivers. We have one stretch of dual carriageway - it's about a quarter of a mile long, so for me, I can just about hit 70 when I get to the end of it? HAHAHAHA, I myself do not have a need for speed. 70 in the 65 lane is where I max, hahaha!
