I can't believe he died :/

I still remember his ESPN commercial where he was stepping into the elevator and he saw the Univ. of Florida mascot (gator) leaving the elevator and he goes after it :laugh:

Yeh i too was thinking it would be nice to apply to work for the zoo esp Australia Zoo where Steve worked. Though im not sure if i'd be accepted but still Steve was inspiring enough to me for have that motivation.

OMFG. BLEHINATOR! just told me on msn, this is really really sad. :( it hurts me because last weekend i just went to his Australia Zoo with my dad. :( wow, so unexpected!

yesterday was fathers day... and i got him a card with steve on it :( aww....

Its amazing reading your posts and then looking at where you are from good to know he was famous outside Australia, How many of you have made it to his park in Australia.

I find it amusing that people the world over love the guy, except in NZ and Australia - hes considered a complete plonker down this way

New Zealanders always hate Australians. I don't know of anyone that doesn't like Steve Irwin (well I know exactly two people, one is a NZ national [although recently converted])... and I live in Australia. I admire people that help our great country get recognition.

oh my gosh

This is so sad, this guy was pretty cool to watch on tv and everything and it's pretty predictable, he does do a lot of dangerous stuff but right now, it just, blows my mind away :o
