AsciiSmoke
Hey Guys, Me and the fianc? are getting married in May and we're trying to do it on a budget. So any where we can save we're gonna cut corners so there's more left in the pot for a nice honeymoon. So I'm after a digital camcorder and obviously preferably it'll be capable of capturing in high definition and come with enough storage capacity to fit the wedding and ensuing frivolities after. It'll also help if it's pretty easy to use 'cause obviously I'll be busy at the time and will need someone else to do the honors with it. I'm looking for cheap as possible (no more than ?200) but obviously I'll step-up if needs be to get a decent one. Cheers AsciiSmoke
Pink Floyd Veteran Posted September 28, 2006 Veteran Share Posted September 28, 2006 HD camera under ?200? I think the only HD video camera are DVD and HDD based. There are plenty DVD based camera but I know Panasonic does real good HDD based camera. It depend on how expensive they sell it in your country
AsciiSmoke
ok, I've really only just started looking into this today. If ?200 is too low I'll need to re-evaluate, what kind of money should I be looking at?

Apex.
You cant even get a decent SD DV cam for <200, youre looking at at least the HC3E from Sony if youre looking for HD and that is around 700. If youre looking for a decent hdd camera, in SD, youre looking about 350-400. Good Hunting. http://www.dvuser.co.uk/ - Good place for links to reviews and such.
