Pai Pai Master
So, I'd like a home theater system to go with my PS3, 360 and Wii, but I use (or plan on using) all of them with the same Samsung LCD HDTV as I use my PC with. At the moment, my PS2, 'Cube and 360 are hooked up straight to my TV so I use the TV speakers for those, and my PC is hooked up to my PC speaker system. I can connect one of the three game consoles to my PC speakers, but I have to disconnect my PC to do so and it's just a big pain in the ass. So, I'd like to have surround sound on my game consoles and my PC, but I definitely don't want two sets of speakers crowding up my bedroom. Thus I ask, are there any audio recievers that can be used with PC speakers or conversely, are there any home theater systems with any sort of PC-compatible input? I'd tried looking around on the interwebs, but I'm dumb when it comes to this and have no idea what I'm looking for. Anyone have any suggestions or advice on the matter? bangbang023 Veteran Posted September 30, 2006 Veteran Share Posted September 30, 2006 Creative has a break out box for their sound cards which will give you, among other things, an optical output to connect to a receiver.
