thanks for the heads up... i'm also glad to see that deadaim still works on the newest version too :) i just wish my friends would move to another, better, non-aol, messaging client, heh

If you were Microsoft, wouldn't you sue AOL for that intergration? I mean hell, it even uses the MSN Offline/Online Buddy Icons in the bottom left pane in Outlook Express, and stops the Windows Messenger Offline/Online Indicators from appearing in there

No, that was just a result of the antitrust settlement. It's not that big of a deal, anyway, because MSN is way more functional in the mail program's contacts management than AOL is. I mean, all you can do is double click their name to talk to them.

i've been using aim forever.....and i can honestly say this 5.0 crap sucks balls

Can you explain why? I don't like the expressions but those are optional so what is so different about this version that makes you hate it so much?
