i just started up a forum and i'm pretty new to php
on my registration page, i want to have like a part where you choose your school in a drop down menu. i got the dropdown menu there, but it won't "save" what you select. for example, if i choose a school and save it, and go back to my profile, it will be the default selection again.
also, i want to have the first default selection as like "choose your school" and cannot be a selection (if this field is mandatory).
i'm a noob so if anybody can help me in simplest terms that will be great! thanks!
