Computer Guru Share Posted October 16, 2006 NeoSmart Technologies has just released EasyBCD 1.5, complete with support with support for Vista, Windows NT/2k/XP, and Windows 9x/ME. EasyBCD 1.5 adds experimental support for dual-booting any of these along with Linux, Mac OS X, or BSD - straight from the Windows Vista bootloader without any additional configuration needed! EasyBCD 1.5 is the first and only application to allow users of Microsoft’s new OS complete compatibility with any other OS they might be using! It doesn’t make a difference if it’s Mac OS X or Linux, BSD or Unix; EasyBCD 1.5 means you can boot into it! For too long have Vista’s beta testers been locked-in to Windows simply because nothing else can be easily booted into, but not anymore! EasyBCD is geared for users of all kinds. Whether you just want to add an entry to your old XP partition or want to create a duplicate for testing purposes; if you're interested in debugging the Windows Kernel or hectuple-booting your seven test operating systems, EasyBCD is the key. Simon- Share Posted October 16, 2006 Booting OS X doesn't mean that it allows OS X to be installed on a non-Macintosh PC, it means that EasyBCD can be installed on a Macintosh PC that already has OS X.
Computer Guru Author Share Posted October 16, 2006 Exactly. AND, it doesn't PUT Mac on your x86, it just modifies your MBR so that if you ALREADY HAVE mac on your x86 you can boot into it. Perfectly legal. I've already asked :)

null_ Share Posted October 16, 2006 remove the Mac Support, otherwise it's considerate as a Warez :s Not really, it's not like EasyBCD ships Mac OS X with the installer. It just allows you to boot Mac OS X should you have a copy of it installed on your machine.

xxdesmus Share Posted October 17, 2006 Not really, it's not like EasyBCD ships Mac OS X with the installer. It just allows you to boot Mac OS X should you have a copy of it installed on your machine. You're kidding right? lol ... It's hardly warez. It's not bypassing the ridiculous protection that is on OSX, it's not bypassing or cracking or changing anything. All this program does it more or less detect currently installed OSs and then create a boot menu. They are not even remotely doing anything illegal in any way, shape, or form. This is no different than all of the bigger companies (such as Partition Magic's boot loader). Anyways... @Computer Guru Thank you for the mirror
