-onslaught- Posted November 16, 2002 Share Posted November 16, 2002 i need to run half-life (cs) with compatibility mode to get a3d working. with a short cut everything works perfect but if i run cs from within a server browser (like hlsw oder all seeing eye) it doesnt work because win2k lets me just adjust compatibility mode with shortcuts not with .exe files (what afaik is possible in winxp). i also tried setwin95 utilty which works, too but i dont get won authenticated. apcompat doesnt work too :(. so what i need is a possibility to run a .exe file in win2k in combatibilty mode from the command line (i'll create a batch file then, and everything would be perfect ;) ) i hope someone can help me with that and no, i do NOT want to install winxp :)) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
