Max Veteran Posted November 6, 2006 Veteran Share Posted November 6, 2006 Basically, I would like to know how to add the command "Open In New Tab" to the links menu. I have the following stuff down (see attached image) which is the same commands as opening a link, but was wondering if there is any specific commands for this? Krome
Why do you want to simulate an action that exist already? I kinda don't understand. You want to know this so you can port that to other browser? When I install IE7, this action is included in the menu already. Can you tell me what's the point? I am just curios and don't really understand the real intention.
Max Veteran Posted November 6, 2006 Author Veteran Share Posted November 6, 2006 That (attached) was put there by me. I don't want to middle click. I want to right click and click something in a menu. Firefox does it - so why can't IE. Its a simple menu click - and I really want it there. It works - but just not properly. I was wondering whether there was a proper command for it.
JRosenfeld
For a URL typed in the address bar press alt + enter to open it in a new tab. Don't know bout Links toolbar. I don't use it. However, the Links folder is in the Favorites list and you can open a link from there in a new tab in the normal way
