Soni
I have a problem ;) Internet Explorer keeps crashing and coming up with the error dialogue box, do i want to send the error to MS etc. Also, its strange that when i open a link to a website, or click one of my fouvorites, Internet Explorer suddenly vanishes and i'm looking at my desktop! I have AVG antivirus installed, and i've also ran adaware, and spybot search & destroy, but it seems to be still happening. Does anybody have any ideas? As its getting kind of annoying now, when you've just found a website you want, and all of a sudden you're staring back at your desktop as though its never been opened. randy_tho
I've seen an older version of flash do this on several machines. It appeared specific to Yahoo's site at the time. After upgrading or disabling flash it didn't happen. It's worth a try. What was said above will most likely eventually get you going. Is it possible you have some adware causing the problem? Soni
Thanks guys for your replies :) Whilst i was typing this thread yesterday, i had allready ran Spybot, and was in the process of running Adaware whilst i was typing. After it finished running, it came up with a load of adware, i deleted them (or quarantined) and so far (knock on wood) it hasn't crashed since. If it happens anymore then i'll deinstall/reinstall IE as you've suggested, and see if that helps. Will let you know,
