Wolvereen
Can anyone lend me a hand with this question? I am looking for a Wii compatible SD card for saves, music, pics etc. I thought I read that 2GB is the limit, if so, any thoughts on this card? http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-150x-Secure-Di...p;s=electronics Ultra 2GB 150x Secure Digital Card Thanks!! Caleo Global Moderator Posted November 22, 2006 Global Moderator Share Posted November 22, 2006 Like most devices, all (at or under the size limit) sd cards will probably work.. You can get 2GB cards a lot cheaper than that though, that's a rip. Much better name & half the price: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=...&adid=17662 Also, check Pricegrabber.com
Wolvereen
Actually, after rebate it's $10 for 2GB. Still, Kingston for $5 more ain't bad and only 1 rebate to deal with with the Google Checkout. Pretty good deal for either one. Just wanted to make sure it worked! Thanks!! Danrarbc
I just bought a transcend 150x card. Works great.
coolchan
the kingston one is likely 66x while the one the poster chose is 150x speed. but no one knows if Wii supports higher speed SD cards. But I'd choose the speedy one. I've seen the transfer speed from Wii to SD, it's quite slow.
