dragon2611
are there any decent 3rd party headsets for the 360? the offical ones the cables to flimsy where it connects to the controller imo. I think mine might be starting to go there. Given that i seem to be great at destorying headphone cables can anyone reccomend a headset with a more robust cable

Phemo
@ lightfast how do you connect a xbox1 headset to a 360?! You just plug it into the controller. Xbox 1 headsets have a 2.5mm jack on them which plugs into a module to provide mute/volume functionality which then slots into the controller. Obviously you do away with the module and just plug the headset into the jack on the bottom of the 360 controller. You lose the volume controls but that's not that big a deal since it can be controlled via the Xbox Guide.
jb23fan
Funny that microsoft never did acknowledge that most of their launch headsets were defective and causing echos, although i performed my own warranty service by buying a new one and returning the broke on in the new ones packaging. The 360's headset is VERY low quality, I wonder if plantronics has put out one yet.

magik
yes, all 2.5mm jack headsets work Yes, and you don't even have to sacrifice Mute/Volume functionality either! Just use Datel's Headset Adapter: http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp...&ProdID=
