my tv has this in the back ( its not hd that im aware of ) but when i hook up the r b g cable's i have no sound ? anyone got any idea why its a soney vega 32 inch around 5 years old i have to say the eye candy looks alot better

Your TV is broken, buy a new one and send me that one.

why in the hell are they split like that

if you mean the rbg its split into the 3 basic colors that make all other colors. the red/ white in audio is left/right channels.

gee thanks dude.. i'm at work and i LOL'ed! LOL..... now my boss looked over at me and realized i'm not working. It's a slow day for whatever reason but either way i should be doing something. LOL Ok now back to pretending i'm working.

i work for a supermarket chain.... people in the North East will know Stop and Shop (my other job besides 30Five.com) I work at the HQ as a kinda admin (jr) :)

WOW... this thread is awesome!

the colours for your TV are made up of 3 different colours. red, blue, green.

these are the PICTURE only.. and you have the red, white, yellow which are both left / right audio, and yellow is for picture. You use the 3 colours for HDTV, and the left / right audio, and leave the yellow one... out
