Ryne
Well, I don't know what happened. An uninstall/reinstall didn't fix it. I haven't removed anything from my computer, but one day when I opened IE7, there was this:
reactionary007
try changing back to an out-of-the-box windows theme and see if that helps.
Ryne
Yup, that fixed it. Damn, this means I have to use one of these Windows themes? I don't like them at all :x. Thanks though.
reactionary007
thats always been the issue with using a non-out of the box theme... you may run into abnormalities. i've just gotten use to using windows classic on my boxes. i do like aero though! Ryne
True. I don't have aero since I'm still running XP. I can't wait until I get my hands on it though :D
dixiecal
Try going to "tools", "internet options", "colors", "background". I think it's your background colors that makes the boxes' colors. Hope this helps. :) Oh wait, now I know exactly what you mean. Mine did this exact same thing. I got rid of it by closing & reopening IE. Then if that didn't work (but sometimes it did) I would go to "view", "toolbars", & play around with some of the views. Click some off & back on, and close IE again & reopen. When I did that, it finally came back normal after 2-3 tries.
