AMDMEFX-55
^ Thanks for taking the time and effort to take those pictures. (Y) The monitor looks pretty big even though it's 21". Heh, I'm too used to my 17" CRT monitor. Your welcome. The colour is much better live. It has all hook up's vga,dvi,s-video,rca connections. It was only $300.00 at Office Depot. O yea you can even hook it up to a CRT monitor. It looks good also just like a pc game.

Yusuf M. Veteran Posted December 4, 2006 Veteran Share Posted December 4, 2006 ashame the ps3 can play like this or can it ??? could ps3 and dell 2407WFP would be sweet  I'm unaware of any method to connect the PS3 to a VGA/DVI monitor. The Xbox 360 does so with the VGA HD cable.
Smashing Pumpkin
I'll be playing my XBox 360 on a TV/DVD Combi, a lil portable job... I can't afford a big TV :(
M1ke
That monitor will work just fine even though it's 16x10 i use one thats 20.0 inch dont play at 720p resolution select 1920x1080 and your monitor will scale it down to your monitors max resolution of 1680x1050 and it will look beautiful.. the vga connection is so nice. I have encountered no problems ever playing on an lcd.
DarkGashX
Remember in PAL countries, VGA doesn't allow 50Hz games to be played.

I bought myself a Samsung LCD set, 19" for ?280ish. I advise you do the same.

MadFerIt
...I need money! Plus I dunno where I'd put the television, it wouldn't fit in my room :( When you do have the cash I'd recommend a nice 20" Widescreen LCD. Possibly the LG 204WT, Dell 2007WFP (expensive but very high quality, I have one myself). Whatever you get just make sure it's widescreen. A great deal of 360 games do not support 5:4 and so you'll wind up with black bars at the top and bottom of your screen. And if you're in PAL territories then VGA might be an issue.. But you could consider a cheaper 23" LCD HDTV or something (which could also sub as a computer monitor since you are a bit squeezed for space). Sheppard
Amazon are doing the Samsung SM205BW 20.1" widescreen with HDCP support for ?199.99 delivered, its usually about ?260-300 in shops, im buying one for my 360 to replace my 19" widescreen. Smashing Pumpkin
The only reason I can afford a 360 is cos I'm getting it for christmas, perhaps I'll get a nice big TV next christmas. Saving up from work wages is tough for me cos I hardly get paid anything... tight ass boss...
RaccoonSalsa
I use my 360 on a 2007WFP which is basically the same as the E207, just more inputs on the 2007WFP and i tihnk a better panel??, stretching adn stuff isnt an issue, you can play in 720p with little black bars at the top and bottom or set like 1280x768 and have a tiny bit of stretching that really isnt that noticeable. raider360
alot of people already have the xbox 360 but can't afford currently pricey HDTV. but uve already got the pricey HDTV, should have bought the 360 i say. I have an HDTV, but the price of xbox360 Premium in my country is near $600 :pinch: :pinch: I don't have a console yet (only old ps1 lol); So I am thinking of maybe getting ps2 or original xbox to play some time, and then, next year or so, when the price drops get a next-gen. jerzdawg
the price of the 360 premium is like $730 here :| that is crazy.... is that just because of the conversion rate?
ToeNipples
COSTCO has got a 23" LCD HDTV (720p) for 400 bucks plus shipping and tax if that's within your price range.
Fabian-
that is crazy.... is that just because of the conversion rate? not really, local stores get it directly from the US, so that's $400 + $240 ~ for import duties + $90 or so for profit :p and check this out...Dead or Alive 4 is ~$98 here while you can get it for $40 at Amazon :|

Or maybe fly directly into EU or USA :D lol
