phalanx126
i just got an xbox 360 and i'm using it with my dell 2007 wfp computer monitor. i was wondering what's the best resolution to set the monitor in at the xbox display setup to make games look best? i'm assuming it would be the highest, but i just wanted to be sure. Sheppard
Just set it to your monitors native resolution, and set the xbox to the appropriate resolution that has the same aspect ratio as the monitor and scaling will do the rest :)

Use the highest resolution your monitor will support.

The Dell 2007WFP is 16:10 (I have the monitor too). While the 360 is 16:9. The best resolution from my own testing is 1368x768. It'll be downscaled of course but it still looks good. MadFerIt
awesome, thanks for the info :) Np :). You can also use 1280?1024 set to widescreen.. But I found 1360x768 to be better:DD. I do hope Microsoft eventually supports 1680x1050 though.. It is a very common resolution for WS monitor's these days. +dnast Subscriber² Posted December 8, 2006 Subscriber² Share Posted December 8, 2006 I'm hoping for 1440x900, personally. Most widescreen 19" monitors have this.
