User6060
Add these 3 .dll's into your Firefox folder OR your plugins folder inside Firefox folder OR WMP Folder then type about:plugins to check if they're there. FF_WMP.zip

+Cryton Subscriber² Posted December 9, 2006 Subscriber² Share Posted December 9, 2006 I recommend trying MediaPlayerConnectivity 0.8.3 extension. It replaces all embedded media with a placeholder that, once clicked, launches the video feed into an external media player of your choice. So you can resize it easily, sometimes save the feed easily, and also if it does crash it won't take your browsing session down.
sciguy007
i use the IE Tab extension and just render the page using the IE engine when it has embedded video. then wmp11 works fine.
amr_01
I don't experience any of this. Using FF2. Same here, I use WMP11 and FF2 and have not had any issues at all.
jafoman
I've only experienced crashes in FF 2 with the latest VLC versions with the Mozilla plugin installed. Make sure you don't use the plugin, and you should be good.
Orry Verducci
I don't see why people are having problems, WMP has always worked for me in Firefox, including the latest combination of WMP11 and Firefox 2.
