Well, just got my Xbox 360 today :woot:

I've been playing for the past couple of weeks with my friend's 360 until I decided to get my own and I'm loving it :D

The only games I have so far are:

- Gears of War

- Kameo

- Burnout Revenge

I'll be getting PGR3 on Monday and COD3 in a few days. My gamertag is Gr0dd so feel free to add me to your friends list ;)

See you at Xbox Live :)

Premium comes with default component cables--you'll need to order the vga cables separately.

congrats man. hope you enjoy it. don't let anyone tell you you bought the wrong console. if you enjoy the games you have you have the right console.

for some people there are more than one right console. for me it was xbox and wii... :D

you CANT mod an xbox360, i dont care what anyone told you, you cant do it. All you can do is change the dvd-rom firware, in that is it, and the only thing that is good for is running burnt games, nothing else.

I did the same today...even tho I've been worried about how realible the system is. as a result I was going to wait for the new 65mm xboxs, but I simply couldn't put it off much longer :p(I'm getting a HDTV and free to air HDTV doesn't exist here)

I was simply amazed by even the dashboard and xbox live. I think I spent 2/3 hours so far just playing with the inbuilt stuff. My Vista media center picked it up straight away and using it as an extender was pretty damn cool..

My only compaint with it is how bad games look on SDTV's... Many games have stupidly small fonts. Also games in general look pants on an SDTV after seeing them on a HDTV :p

well thats why most people mod their consoles, to play burnt games

I think the point he is trying to point out is homebrew support is a no-no for now.

Congratz. I hope you enjoy.

I have been very pleased with the XBox Live Service. I really like the way they do the achievement unlock system. It is cool to easily find who you have played with, compare games, and add them to your friends list. Inviting people to games is also a very cool feature.

You also can stream music and video from your Windows PC! You can stream music from your PC and use it as the soundtrack to any of the games you are playing!

Microsoft has done a good job at the base console OS. Sony and Nintendo have a lot of catching up to do.

there are special methods my friend... :shiftyninja:

stop trying to lie, there are no homebrew for the 360 right now...all you can do is play pirated games...and now it seems they arent banning them from online.....

*bows down to elite_graphix's "l33t hax0rz skillz"*
