Kev1n
Ok here's the thing, Firefox by default should open any links in neowin/forums in a new tab, but for some reason mine doesn't. It just opens it in the current tab. I had a backup of my profile before this problem happened, so I restored it and the links opened in a new tab. But after a while, for some unknown reason, the same problem repeats itself. I did not install any new extensions, so what is the problem?

f0rbez
Type about:config in the address bar. Then, set browser.tabs.loadOnNewTab to "1".
markwolfe Veteran Posted December 15, 2006 Veteran Share Posted December 15, 2006 I use middle-click to open in new tabs. Left-click to open in existing. Simple.

bfoos
I use middle-click to open in new tabs. Left-click to open in existing. Simple. That doesn't work if you use your middle click button as a back button.
markwolfe Veteran Posted December 15, 2006 Veteran Share Posted December 15, 2006 Well, "your way" assumes that a default of opening pages in new tab should be forced upon users. Did f0rbez's solution work for you?
