H5N
Hello current Xbox 360 and Live owners, I have an Xbox Live account right now on my old Xbox but I am also getting Xbox 360 soon (next week :D). I will most likely be trading in my Xbox plus all of my old Xbox games and will use them as credit towards purchasing the 360. My question is, since I will be trading in the Xbox, my Xbox Live account will obviously be on the hard drive. How do I get rid of it? If I delete the account from my hard drive, will that cancel my account? And will it affect my migration to Xbox Live Gold? All help is appreciated! :)
I am Reid
No, if you delete it nothing is going to happen. They are probably going to format the drive anyways. When you get your 360 when you go to setup your xbox live account their should be an option to recover. Then you just put in i think your name, zip, phone, last four of your credit card. That should be pretty much all you have to do.

TokyoKiller
Don't worry, that's why the internet exists :D. It's all on some random MS server =D!
