Rainbow Six Vegas or Saints Row?

Vegas.

Saint's Row sucked IMO. Besides the nice effects (like explosions and stuff), the game has bad graphics overall, bad scriptwriting, bad voice acting, tedious earn respect missions, buggy engine, and a ridiculous notion of multiculturalism in gangs which is a nice idea in theory but almost completely unbelievable and stupid in application.

Maybe consider something really different, like Oblivion? I really like Dead or Alive 4 and Viva Pinata as well.

I haven't played Saints Row yet. Rainbow 6 LV is fun so far. The cover controls are a little awkward coming from GoW, but there is definitely a lot more variety of gameplay then GoW. However, a bit more slower pace and overall less fun then GoW IMO.

You can probably find some old gems in the used games.

Vegas. I enjoyed Saints Row alot but the MP in Vegas will last you alot longer. Of course, since you're getting GoW you could go with SR for a different genre.

I agree... Saints Row has its own addictive prowess

My opinion:

I'm sure they've patched it, but Saints Row was the buggiest game ever when it came out and the multiplayer was pathetic, it's also quite old and likely to be picked up cheaply as a trade in. I finished the single player, but, as soon as I did that (one weekend), it was traded in.

At the start, I wasn't really that impressed with Rainbow 6, as I am a big GRAW fan, but I soldiered (harhar) on and have got into it on both single and multiplayer, there are still some bugs to be ironed out.

Gears of War left me unmoved, it's graphically very nice, but, the game play is pretty lacklustre, single player is quite short and multiplayer maps are small and the gameplay lacks variation.

R6: Vegas is a lot better then Saints Row. A LOT.

I loved Saints Row when I first got it but after playing R6: Vegas it is nothing compared to it.

They are both fun but I like Vegas a lot more. If you want to wait until after you get your 360 then there are demos for both Saints Row (Single Player) and R6: Vegas (Multiplayer and Singleplayer)
