P!P
I rarely log into my Hotmail account, but today I did. My Live account is set to my Hotmail account. I have just a plain Xbox, not a 360. I get this e-mail today from Microsoft saying that my Live membership has been renewed for a year. I checked to make sure it wasn't SPAM or anything but it wasn't. So I log into Xbox.com and sure as hell, "Next Bill Date: 12/21/2007". Since 2004, I've been paying $5.99 a month. Why did they switch me to yearly membership? I also see they changed the rate to $7.99. Not sure when that happened. I'm just sort of mad when I'm going to end up paying $45 more this month for Xbox Live than I planned and it's 4 days before Christmas. Has this happened to anyone else? John Veteran Posted December 21, 2006 Veteran Share Posted December 21, 2006 Put the money you save by not spending 95.88 / year into a bank and save it for Christmas next year (Y) I do have sympathy for you though; my WoW account was just charged for 6 months :pinch:

yert*
i think they state when you sign up, prices are allowed to change at anytime.
P!P
i think they state when you sign up, prices are allowed to change at anytime. True, but by $45? LOL. I know in the end I'm saving but it's a lot more money than I planned for this month. Besides, they didn't change prices, they switched my plan. It would be like the cable company just upgrading you to a more expensive plan.
John Veteran Posted December 21, 2006 Veteran Share Posted December 21, 2006 It's a different payment plan, not a different plan.
