Capcom's Lost Planet for Xbox 360 Leaked onto Web

Recommended Posts

An internet 'release group' has leaked a PAL version of Capcom's very promising Lost Planet: Extreme Condition almost 20 days in advance. The game reportedly hit the web today, i.e Christmas eve. The leakers also claim that the game is totally region free.

EDIT: *Removed the filename* I can confirm it is out there ;).

The game is on the Internet i have confirmed that. I am not going to say where but it is out. I don't have a hacked 360 and i wont hack it either but i live in the us so a pal version is useless to me anyway.

It will "work" that's why they say it is region free, but I wont hack my 360 (tomorrow when I get it ;)) because I don't want to risk been banned off of live and there isn't any homebrew anyway, I think the piracy talk should stop right now or Mods will lock this thread :(.

Well it is out in Japan sooo.......

Yes, the Japanese version was 'available' a few days ago and that is region locked to Japanese consoles only. The PAL version was leaked today and aside from being in English, it's region free so it'll work on US/Euro/Aus/whatever consoles.

Regardless, it happens. A game appearing a few weeks early is nothing new.

Nothing new, no, but not exactly a regular occurance. 3 weeks before release is still quite a big thing.

They must have finished the game long before Christmas. You have to add the time to print the DVDs, ship the around the world and down to the retailers.

Welcome to PC gaming! Wait, er nm.

Jan. 12th for the US I believe is the release date. Japan is already out, the 21st was the release date there. Europe and Australia are also the 12th of Jan if memory serves. So we all get to play together on the 12th!

this is for mainland China, that's how gamers there get titles since there's no official release. they generally use Japan-version consoles and piracy rings quite readily get master copies of anything when necessary.
