ProChefChad
Hey all, I've discovered a neat little trick with the "menu bar" in IE7. If you hide the menu bar (using the right click on the toolbar area) you can still see the menu bar if you press "alt"...it will show up temporailly for a one time use until you click back in the browsing area. This is great if you don't want to always see the menu bar but you still want to use it without having to enable and disable it often. Cheers. ProChefChad
yeah it is...but the point is that if you do need it for any reason you can just use "alt" instead of having to enable the bar and disable the bar again.

For the record, I believe this works in any previous version of IE and Maxthon, as well.

Chode
Yep, in almost all Vista applications. And in Windows Live Messenger (if menus are hidden), and it will also give you menu access in WMP11

That is old, but what is NEW (as the original post says) is that the alt key will toggle the visibility of the hidden menu bar in Vista Explorer, Internet Explorer 7, and a number of other programs
