Kraftman
Is it possible to have a custom online gamer picture, using a USB device such as an MP3 player or a memory stick? If so, how is this done, what resolution should the pictures be at (128x128 etc), and in what format (PNG, JPG, GIF, etc)?
Alladaskill17
Can be done, not sure on resolution, but my friend and i did it on his account a while back. You can also use the picture for your background on the dashboard panels.

DarkGashX
Little off topic, is it possible to copy music/pictures from a memory stick to the 360?
Kraftman
Okay, I put a JPG on a memory stick, but how do I actually *apply* it? Well, actually I put a PNG, a GIF, a TIFF, a BMP, and a JPG (I thought ahead ;))
bts0uth
you cant use custom gamer pics. as far as i know anyways, the guy that said you could meant you can make a custom theme but you can only use one picture and it will be the background for all the tabs on the dashboard. to do that just look at the picture u want (on the thumbdrive or cd) and it will say apply as background
FreqFace
I suppose they disallowed the use of custom gamer pics for fear of abuse of it.

Yeah, probably worried about pr0n, and with custom gaming pictures there would be no need to unlock them anymore (you could just d/l one that looks the same). Thanks anyways, I guess the answer sadly is a big fat no.
Phemo
The only way to do it that I'm aware of is to take a picture using the 360 camera. I've got a custom picture that I took myself as my gamer picture. Not quite the same I know but it's about the best you can get.
DarkGashX
How do you copy music over to your 360?
FreqFace
How do you copy music over to your 360? You have to rip it from a CD. For some reason, that's the only way to do it... you can only stream via other methods.
AbandonedTrolley
Also when ripping from cd, the cd must be burnt in Audio format and not just full of 200 mp3's Needs to be a standard 13-14 tracks on an album type CD.

When you use the camera to make a custom gamer picture it is only visable to people on your friends list, everyone else will see your public gamer picture.
