Alex the man
Does the Xbox 360 support USB Keyboards in game to control the players, using WASD etc. i am really interested in getting a Xbox 360 but i am seriosuly put off by the controller, i just cant use console controllers, so i was wondering if there is any support for USB keyboards to be used as controllers instead... Pilsbury
Out of the box, it doesn't no. A USB keyboard can only be used for inputting text. There is a thing coming out called the "Team Xtender XFPS" that does allow you to use a keyboard and mouse, but, according to a review at http://www.engadget.com/2006/12/30/team-xt...-xfps-reviewed/ it doesn't seem that great. The controller isn't that hard to use.
CPressland
Yeah man, just use the Controller for a week and you'll love it! get halo 2 to learn! it's the easiest game to controll! and at all costs! STAY AWAY FROM Perfect Dark Zero that game has one hell of a nasty controller config

Alex. There's actually a solution for this called XFPS. It lets you use a keyboard/mouse with the 360 (it does this by essentially corresponding keyboard/mouse actions to what the 360 controller would be doing itself). I realise the movement is being matched with the controller, but I'd think having a mouse and being used to one would give you an advantage over other players on the Xbox ... ? I don't really think so. People seem to think a controller is inferior compared to playing with a mouse/keyboard. It really depends on the player themselves. Some plays are going to be far better with a keyboard/mouse, while some are far better with a controller. And I certainly think if you have a person who mastered a game with his controller, he would beat the average keyboard/mouse user. Plus the XFPS is what, $70-80? Not many people are going to buy it, I certainly won't.

Alex the man
For this Reason i do think PC's are better, i was considering oen this morning because i woudl prefer spending 280? than 800?, but in all honesty i cant stand controllers so PC's still will be my gaming platform until a console maker, pulls their finger out of their arse adn gives it native Keyboard&Mouse support. Won't happen because a KB/Mouse is not mass-marketable.

MadFerIt
PDZ helped me get better at Halo 2. You're lucky that it did. Because I played a great deal of Halo 2 and had a heck of a time controlling PDZ. The way it handles horizontal/vertical aiming is just completely laggy and odd.
