Windows Live Mail Broken On Firefox?

Recommended Posts

Anyone else experiencing this? I cant render anything properly using Windows Live Mail Beta.

Am running Firefox 2.0.0.1.

Is it just me? I thought WLM was firefox friendly already.

Disable Adblock and Ctrl + F5 your Firefox. Might be a dodgy filter.

i really dont wanna use IE just for my email. this is getting annoying

It's happened to me a couple of times too. It usually sorts itself out.

I recommend you get Windows Mail Desktop. You'll love it. And you can check more than one account at the same time :D

I boot up Firefox's Error Console and get the following entries..

Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'display'. Declaration dropped.

Source File: http://gfx8.mail.live.com/mail/11.08.0100....positioning.css

Line: 26

Warning: Unknown property 'text-overflow'. Declaration dropped.

Source File: http://gfx8.mail.live.com/mail/11.08.0100....positioning.css

Line: 96

and so on.....there are about 8-10 such entries..

am i having some settings not configured correctly?

You're not paying attention.

It's happened to me a few times too, and it's always solves itself. Just wait. And if you can't set up Outlook to grab your mail, or get WLMail Desktop.

Will it work in safe mode, with no extensions active?

tried. still the same error. i think its just my userid or something.

i tried IE7 and used an anonymizer at work to get through to WLM and got the same exact screen.

something about an object not being supported was thrown
