So as a question, you can't use a GOLD card on the Original Xbox?

If so, why is that because its signing up for the same service.

Copoboxx, maybe try ringing Xbox Live Support and asking if its possible for you to do it over the phone? might be cheaper than the ?45 option.

0800 587 1102 i think thats the number

other wise it just seems odd that its more expensive re-doing original Xbox Live than it is 360 Live.

This thread is frustrating.

What people are saying is that the same Xbox Live card that works on an Xbox360 works on the original Xbox (which I can't verify myself). Therefore you should be able to go to any local shop (in the UK or anywhere else) and purchase the card to get yourself up and running.

Please do not bump threads. And don't troll this thread telling him to buy another console either.

http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/xbox/accounts/

I managed to sign up for XBox Live on the XBox without a subscription code, I can't see that having changed.

If you really want, you can go to a store, buy an XBox360 card, and sign up on the web using that. An XBox Live account is the same whether used on an XBox or a 360.

No offence, but asking if you order something from Amazon, will you get it does make you sound somewhat stupid.

Edit:

I'd get this to be honest -

Just go to a local store and ask if they have any type of card for the original Xbox Live service. Most stores should have a 12-month. If they don't have it, then just order it online from one of the many sources posted throughout this thread. It doesn't matter if you're from the UK, the US, or even Africa, it works. Afterwards, have your credit card ready, and just sign up from the console.

It. Isn't. Hard.
