Lingwo
What's with all the limited edition games coming out recently - GOW, Dead Rising, Oblivion, Lost Planet... It is so they can make their money back on the increasing cost to develop a game. I don't think this is the collectors edition but just the metal case... like Dead Rising. If it is the collectors edition then we get all this. * One exclusive bonus multiplayer map that will only be available in the Collectors Edition until summer 2007. * Custom designed exclusive cover art, for collectors edition only. * Premium packaging in a sleek SteelBook metal case. * Exclusive art book with concept sketches from all stages of development including character renders, VS renders and enemy art. * Soundtrack of select songs from the game. * Fan kit assets for gamers to create their own Lost Planet websites. * Action packed videos and trailers. * Wallpapers, AIM icons, board icons and signature banners. * Digital art files including screens, character art and environment shots. LOC Veteran Posted January 9, 2007 Veteran Share Posted January 9, 2007 I'm not to happy with 1up's reviews lately. It's pretty obvious they are a paid off company these days, and the reviews are suffering for that. Meanwhile every other review for the most part for Lost Planet is in the 8.0-9.0 range. SimplySchizo
Since when did Dead Rising have a collectors edition? I was just wondering the same thing. Anyways.. last real limited/premium/gold/whatever edition that was close to being worth coughing up the extra mula.. was way back when Half Life 2 came out. IMO of course.
