I have a (so far) unbreakable Sony Ericsson T610, falls off my desk every day, has been used to drop muggers (amazing what a phone to the temple will do), still works.

Technically I'd prolly buy anything by Apple, but I voted its what I'm after because more often than not they have something I'm after. I think its great, only downside is the hd size, i'd like a 30+gb one if I'm gunna use it as a movie/music ipod. Ah well.. 2nd gen will be better, as for the price I dun care, I bought a ps3.. money clearly isn't going to stop me for getting something I want.

I just got the Motorola slvr L7 phone, and its a bit slow to transfer 512mb of music via my camera's cable - I can't imagine how long it'll take to fill up the 8gb.

However, I'll reconsider it when the 2nd gen batch comes out.

It's an iPod, so it won't take very long at all to load 8gb of music on it...
