AmpCoder
I have mine setup to where I connect my desktop via DVI and my Xbox 360 via VGA, and I can just switch between Digital and Analog using my monitors controls. I am not sure if you would be able to do it that way or not.
Roger H. Veteran Posted January 10, 2007 Veteran Share Posted January 10, 2007 or something like a KVM... you'd plug both into the KVM and then just the 1 monitor to the KVM. You'd have to hit a switch to switch back and forth. That's as far as i get what you mean by "sametime" cuz you can't use them both with PC on 1/2 and 360 on 1/2 unless you got some uber monitor with POP/PIP. Most (good) monitors these days comes with DVI and VGA and some even Component so you can just plug all them in at the sametime and just hit the PC/Video button to switch between inputs. golazo
Mine has 2 vga inputs. I just have the 360 in one and the PC in the other, with a button on the front of the monitor to switch between the PC and 360. I don't know if you have that cyclone9? Maybe you can get a thing with a few vga inputs and all you need to do is push a button instead of switching cables all the time, I'm pretty sure there's something like that on the market? ToneKnee
You can get KVM switches for just VGA ports. Just use the switch. You don't need one with PS/2 ports.
fingers.t.beaver
You can get Vga Crash switches that will just mechanically switch Between the two. You couldn't use a KVM as they generally take power from the keyboard too work. UK example http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quick...NavigationKey=0 They're should be suppliers elsewhere though Edited January 11, 2007 by fingers.t.beaver
