Bolton? Why would he go to bolton?

If anything a club like newcastle would be better. But then again he likes to be fit and injury free. Newcastle is just cursed

i always knew his career would end sooner than most top professionals... after his legs went what else does he offer apart from passing and the odd freekick (not as great these past few years)

Some confusion surrounding this saga :p.

David Beckham's representatives have contradicted an earlier statement from Real Madrid by claiming that contract talks are still ongoing for the former England captain.

Real sporting director Predrag Mijatovic had claimed on Wednesday that the midfielder would not be given a new deal at the Bernabeu after stalling over an offer from the Liga club.

The declaration sparked intense speculation about Beckham's likely destination given that his current deal expires in the summer, but members of the star's camp have now clouded the situation by claiming talks with Real have not broken off.

Indeed, a spokesman for the Real star has claimed that Mijatovic's comments were misinterpreted and that Beckham's agents will sit down with the Bernabeu paymasters in the coming days to discuss the contract that is still on offer.

"I've spoken to Real Madrid about this and they say it is a confusion in the interview with Mijatovic," the spokesman said.

"There is an offer on the table from Real Madrid. We will be meeting to discuss this in the next two days."

Speculation will still continue about Beckham's future until a new deal is ratified however, and Internazionale have now ruled themselves out of any potential race for the 31-year-old.

The Nerazzurri have been strongly linked with the former Manchester United hero following the loss of Luis Figo, but technical director Marco Branca says the Serie A side have no intention of moving for Beckham.

"The situation has not changed," said Branca.

"We are simply not interested in Beckham. We are satisfied with the current players we have and he doesn't enter our plans."

Marseille have joined Inter in denying an interest in Beckham, as the midfielder has been linked with a reunion with former England manager Sven Goran Eriksson if the Swede is handed the reins at Stade Velodrome.

"David Beckham is only being linked with Marseille because of the rumours surrounding the arrival of Sven Goran Eriksson here," said a club spokesman."We have nothing to say on the subject."

I still personally think he will leave and go to America, if he wanted to stay he would of signed a new deal by now.

Probley going to America is a good idea. He would probley also have some form of coaching role as well no doubt.

With that under his belt he could go on to become a manager in america or even england

Sounds to me like he's leaving Europe for good. He will probably go to Asia where is he loved and adored or probably to the MLS where every good player seems to go for their last years of competitive soccer/football.

My sisters partner is certain he'll go to Newcaste.. and he's quite often spookily accurate with his football predictions!

It has been confirmed now...

David Beckham is to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and sign a five-year deal for MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy.

The former England captain is to leave Madrid when his contract runs out in June for a new challenge in Major League Soccer.

"This week Real Madrid asked me to make a decision regarding my future and the offer to extend my contract for a further two seasons," Beckham said.

"After discussing several options with my family and my advisors to either stay here in Madrid or join other major British and European teams I have decided to join LA Galaxy and play in the MLS from August this year."

Probably a good move for him. He will get paid loads, become an iconic figure, undoubtedly he will show his class against the other inferior players in the MLS, and it will be like a huge holiday for him in America :p!

Just heard of radio he has signed with LA Galaxy on a 5 Year Contract :)

Yes I heard he is moving (don't know for how long the contract is) you have written 5 years, seems a bit too long for the old timer.

Maybe Liverpool should have signed him, well 1-3 & 3-6 to Arsenal past two games would have been a bit more of a match with him playing for them.

Then on the other hand, he is a Man U ans Spurs fan, so playing for Liverpool or Arsenal even would be a no no for him.

LONDON ? David Beckham will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season to join the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer in a five-year deal.

The move was announced Thursday following the end of talks on extending the 31-year-old English midfielder's contract with the Spanish club.

"This week, Real Madrid asked me to make a decision regarding my future and the offer to extend my contract by a further two seasons," Beckham said in a statement.

From Fox News[/b]b>...I think its the right age...usually players go out there when they are like 35 so its quite early for his career.
