dragon2611 Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 (edited) just got a new psu which has a 24pin connector as oppsed to the older 20 pin connector the previous psu had my mobo could take either 20pin or 24pin connectors. and the manual said you didn't have to have the 24pin connector so i just had 20pins + the seperate 4pin connector located elsewhere. my new PSU has the 24pin connector i need to know if i still also need to connect the other 4 pin connector or not the manuall doesn't seem to be very clear on the subject. its an abit an8 so is it the 24pin + 4pin in the other socket or just 24pin?
