Project Grizzly inventor crafts real-world Halo suit for military use

lol I think it looks pretty cool! :D

The whole suit -- which draws design inspiration from Star Wars, RoboCop, Batman and video games -- is made from high-impact plastic lined with ceramic bullet protection over ballistic foam.

To protect Canadian Troops in Afghanistan and American soldiers in Iraq, the developer of the grizzle project has built himself a bullet, knife, and light ballistic 'halo based' suit, even down to solar powered clean air helmet. The best part is unlike previous declassified Military gear projects, this one is actually affordable.

Troy Hurtubise created the suit, dubbed Trojan, in hopes of protecting Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan and US soldiers in Iraq, and considering that it has withstood knives, bullets, light explosives, clubs, and even a round from an elephant gun, it sounds like quite the winner. Proclaimed to be the "first ballistic, full exoskeleton body suit of armor,"

Trojan is crafted from high-impact plastic lined with ceramic bullet protection over ballistic foam, and features nearly endless compartments, morphine / salt containers, knife and gun holsters, emergency lights, a built-in recording device, pepper spray, ingestible transponder for those "last resort" scenarios, and there's even a fresh air system powered by solar panels within the helmet. Mr. Hurtubise claims the 18 kilograms (40 pounds) suit is comfortable enough to make road trips in (yes, he tried it), and if any major military would take him up on it, they could reportedly be produced for "around $2,000 apiece." Now that's a bargain, folks.

Well, the Firepaste and "1313 Paste" seem cool, but the "Angel Light" and "God Light" make me wonder about him though (I want to see proof dammit!)

Yeah, he's certainly a bit wacky. In spite of him being from Scarborough, this is the first time I've heard of him.

I have heard of the "Angel Light" before (it was the same as it is now, no proof to it's existence or how it works), first i heard of him making armour though.

imagine being in some dirt poor area in Africa, were all they have is clay pots straw house..etc....and seeing someone walk out of a truck to deliver food wearing that.......

probly the same look that you'd have if a borg beamed into your house...
