I so wish they would make a KoTOR III looking like this.

+1

I can't imagine how lightsabers and stuff would look in the next KOTOR (hopefully they'll make a new KOTOR).

I need this game so bad.

perdy... definately a KOTOR feel to it.

Exactly the impression that the screen shots gave me.

I've been saying this will be a AAA must have title... there's still nay-sayers.

I don't like the look of this at all... They need to take Japanese RPG 101 to make a title to compete with the PS3s' FFXIII.

It needs to have an effeminate (possibly blonde) man-girl with big hair, a big sword and some sort of 'dark secret' chasing around the country-side with a queer party of adventures ranging from some sort of fluffy, cute, animal thingie to a couple of hot Japanese girls he can share hair and make up tips with. Later, the hero and the two girls can start some some of weird 'love triangle' thing thus giving the game 'emotional depth', in addition to the uncovering of his 'dark secret'. One of the girls should be pretty and elegant, and is on some sort of important (possibly religious in nature) journey and the other is pretty but quirky, making her seem a bit tom-boyish. I guess he also needs a couple of token males to escort him, so throw in some guy with some sort of bio-mechanical attachment, some old guy with a grudge, and possibly somebody 'dark' (whose sexuality is also questionable) and who likes to sleep in coffins and trapes around in vampire drag.

One of these characters must die soon after starting the game also adding to the 'emotional depth' of the story.

The hero must have this whole homoerotic thing happening with the games main bad character who also has big hair, and who also can't resist the temptation of a bit of eye-liner and lippie. Said bad character should always be out tring to steal one of the main characters 'hags' away in a fit of jealousy, since nobody likes to hang around with him- he is always too busy off trying to END THE WORLD to have any girlfriends to help him with his hair and makeup. Speaking of which...

...The whole game must end in some sort of apocolyptic, civilisation-ending scenario featuring huge monsters not too unlike Godzilla etc al.

Bonus points for allowing players to ride around on some sort of yellow chicken-like thing, a sky boat, and for featuring a casino and/or beach resort.

Having some sort of dystopian, mega-corporation is essential.

The whole game has to be 'on rails' with little variation in how the story progresses.

I think that should cover it, but there is also a PLAN B approach to Japanese RPG game design that also features an effeminate male hero with a sword (and also a shield and a boomerang), but in this one he trapes about solo as he doesn't really need any help from the girlies with his hair and makeup.

He is however constantly running into fairies that like to give him cool stuff for free, which is just awesome.

I am sure there are other less popular styles of Japanese RPGs out there, but they hardly seem worth it when compared to these gold standards.

Best of luck anyway Bioware!

:'D one of the best posts I've seen.

ontopic; the game looks awesome, but I think I'll wait for this to be in the budget-corner, too many great games coming out so I have to pass on some of them.
