Recommended Posts

After playing it about 5 times and maxing out my agility, i like it more and more, maybe I'll sell some games and get crackdown afterall, splinter cell DA, dead rising and saint's row are collecting dust anyway..

Good demo, I've played it through twice and possibly going for a third doing co-op with a friend. Never would I realise jumping around looking for agility and hidden orbs would be so much fun. Does anyone know if in the retail version, your character is customisable such as changing their facial features?

I need someone to play coop on this, i just can't seem to get into a game by just choosing a random one. The first one i connected to, i got "blocked" for some reason.

Scaling the huge agency building is so fun.

ha! i just played the demo and picked that bold marilyn manson gothic dude :p and after playing for about half an hour he had grown quite some hair, so would you have to go to the barber and stuff like that?

^ Note sure about that, but I wouldn't be surprised. There are a lot of little details in this game. For example: You can shoot off the arms of enemies and that will force them to lose their weapons, or you can shoot individual car tires and the care will have to ride on rims (driving a car with blown tires seems fairly realistic as well). Great stuff! :D

It said somewhere (can't remember where) that the demo had sped up the leveling of certain features.

So in retail, you will max out your stuff slower than the demo.

In fact, I think it said that somewhere IN the demo.

Can't be sure though.

Can't believe all the positive feedback this is getting from everybody. I thought just because it was going to be bundled with the Halo 3 Beta Invite, that the game would probably be crap. I will have to download this demo tonight or tomorrow and give myself a test, because this game sounds awesome!

imo, its not _THAT_ awesome - the shooting/aiming system is kinda dull.

I love how you can aim for different parts of the body/car - but it doesnt work that well :/

Yep, when you load the map - it says so above the ....preloader

Seems like a fun game for an hour or two, but I'm still waiting for GTA 4.

Have you a set budget for each certain type of game or what? :p

You can always play both my man.... Plus it'll be a while till GTA4 comes our way.

WOW. Looks like I'm the only one who didn't like it.

I Played the demo until the timer ran out and found the whole thing very frustrating.

Didn't like the way you have to put the cross hairs exactly on an enemy to be able to lock onto them.

There seemed to be gangs everywhere and when you get near one of the "boss" characters there seems to be a never ending stream of gang members.

The voiceover guy seemed to never shut up

Overall I found it boring and repetitive.

I was looking forward to this game, but now I'm not so sure. I think I will give it a few more goes before I decide, perhaps it will grow on me.
