GRAW2-Hands On...

Recommended Posts

Well yesterday I went to a little gaming expo that our local community college hosted which was sponsored by many large vendors including nVidia, NewEgg.com, BAWLS Energy, PNY, Intel and many others. Well since we are so close to the Red Storm studios they some how got them to come out with a dev kit and had it setup for a live free play for anyone to try and they also had a keynote presentation about the game. All I have to say is WOW. Much better than the previous and the Executive Vice President/Managing Director Steve Reid told us that there should be a single and multiplayer demo on LIVE in the coming weeks. Below are some pictures, mind you they are not that great due to a very crappy camera but hey at least its proof.

Yawn  , this is a expansion :/

Technically it is, yes, but it has quite a few improvements like time of day and weather effects and what looks like a much better team control system.

GRAW is still one of the most playable games on the 360 IMO.

The 1st game's multiplayer mode is probably the one I played most on live. I still haven't found a favorite multiplayer mode on 360, but this game is probably the best so far to me, so I'm looking forward to part 2

Did you see Co-Op campaign or Multiplayer?

No I did not they only had the single player version available.

Well I guess that is a personal opinion but the story seems to be very well done plus the second mission I tried was a training camp assault on the Mexican boarder.

I absolutely hate MP in GRAW

Its so different

No learning against wall

Different accuracy

Stupid'er AI

Damn UBISOFT and their need for multiple engines in one game :s

The original GRAW made me mad because the SP demo worked fine on my 1280x1024 resolution "standard format" monitor, while the retail version had black bars and poor AR. Good thing I rented it instead of buying it.
