Ayepecks
Some key points, I think: GI: What about supporting the achievement system for Live on PC? Are you guys supporting that?Rein: I don?t know. It?s too early to know that. GI: Any thoughts on bringing Gears over to PC, or are you going to keep it an exclusive on 360? Rein: We?ve always said that at some point, Gears would come to PC, or could come to PC. We demoed it. The first year at E3 we demoed it, it was on a PC. It?s not a question of if it can run, it?s a question of when?s the right time, and when do we have the right people to do it and is it the right platform for it? So there?s no final decision on that yet. Right now, it?s an Xbox 360 exclusive. If you want to play Gears, go buy a 360. GI: Congratulations on your success with Gears. You received many nominations for the AIAS awards. Is the Gears team on vacation, or are they thinking about Gears 2? Rein: No, they?re still working on Gears. You saw that we put one update out, and we?ve got another one coming out another any day now?I?m not exactly sure when. We have another update in the works with a little surprise in it, and we have more downloadable content. We?re still working on making Gears a better game. You?ll have to wait and see what comes from that. Entire interview: http://www.gameinformer.com/News/Story/200...8507.htm?Page=

TokyoKiller
What's the point, the game is ruined with 12 year old, I can't sit for a good 10 minutes without having to hear 12 year olds yelling like tards.
neoadorable
indeed the kids are a scourge. and it's also nice to see them re-writing history. didn't Epic initially say it was 360 exclusive? now it's "oh, we always said...". doesn't matter. it's part and parcel of convergence day. neoadorable
i like the way you added that forever at the end heh heh, good cautionary note. i'm not taking sides against Epic here, but if MS and Co had a roadmap in advance that shows the convergence of PC and console, i'd personally would have appreciated a bit more honesty. with every one of these press releases it seems the 360, which we took to loving so much so quickly, is basically a marketing trick for them in getting us primed for the real deal. I said "forever" because the only thing I remember is saying that Gears of War would be 360 exclusive for at least a brief period -- they never said it would be exclusive forever. I personally wouldn't mind at all if Gears went to the PC. I'd hope for it, actually.

Yeah I agree, every other game or so I run into little punks that keep yelling and cursing. I started using the mute function more often. I just mute them off and enjoy the silence :) Most of the time I try to team up with people that I have on my friends list and that way I have at least a good team to work with. neoadorable
annoying brats. they're not even supposed to be playing those M rated titles. then the parents blame the gaming industry. bunch a morons. ayepecks, having GoW on the PC in itself is of course a non-issue. it just goes to show the biz model behind the 360 isn't what it was alleged to be.
