I don't care what they say; I would rather have all my data safely burnt on a disk for 7 seconds slower than literally burn up the disk itself. How much is that Plextor writer anyway? HP 8210 or something. I bought my 40X Samsung drive for $40 :) I've seen 52X drives at compusa for $89.99 or something like that. Yikes those babies are getting fast.
