Thunderbird Reset?

My computer crashed on me while I was using ThunderBird. Now I oad back up, all my account details, and all my emails and folders are gone.

This is not good at all, I've got hundreads of important work emails, is there anyway to restore them all back?

Not that I use Thunderbird, but it does have the Mozilla file structure so the problem lies here

C:\Documents and Settings\[userName]\Application Data\Thunderbird

and can probably be rectified by launching Thunderbird with the -p switch to nominate the profile.

That didn't do anything, it just open thunderbird as usual.

Fixed it. Its in options to select where to store messages :-)
